A CLOSER LOOK AT JASMINE & MILO’S WEDDING

In August 2019, we had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful wedding for Jasmine and Milo at Glevering Estate in Suffolk. We provided our classic tipis for the couple and their guests.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR ORIGINAL WEDDING DAY VISION

We originally thought we would plan a Winter wedding in a country house around Christmas time, but quickly realised this wasn’t what we were about at all! We decided to go for a summer wedding, it was so much brighter and allowed us to extend the celebrations long into the evening as the sun went down.

YOUR TOP TIPS ON PLANNING YOUR WEDDING:

Spreadsheets are your best friend! They really helped us to organise what we wanted vs what we had booked. We were able to check things off as we went along, keeping us on track and less stressed out. We also had to remember that not everything would turn out 100% as planned and try not to worry too much, after all, it’s your day and you deserve to enjoy it.

IF YOU HAD YOUR TIME AGAIN WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?

We would most definitely have a videographer. We talk about this all the time. This way you can capture all the action of the day and can share it with your family and friends for years to come.

WHAT MUSIC WAS FEATURED IN YOUR BIG DAY?

Our day was all about music, bringing the festival vibe from the minute the guests stepped into the Tipi. We chose all the songs and had a music lineup! We really wanted to play something for everyone. So, we chose a mix of chill-out tunes, 60’s 70’s and 80’s, The Charts, Kisstory and Dancefloor Classics.

Of course, we would like to thank Events Under Canvas and their amazing team for bringing it all together. We were also grateful to have One curious dream providing our excellent wedding props & for helping us style our tipis. Lastly, I can’t forget to give a shout out to Dreamwave’s events for the awesome music!
