Winter tipi wedding

Our most popular luxury marquee choice for couples tying the knot in the colder months are our giant tipis. Our tipis can be easily linked together to cater for larger weddings, with discreet heating units to ensure guests are cosy inside. To add to the festive feel, firepits can be placed inside to provide extra heating and wow-factor, and fairy lights can adorn the poles of the tipi to add an extra sprinkle of Christmas. Don’t worry about keeping the elements outside where they belong, wooden doors can be added to the tipis, which also serve as an extra special entrance the couple.

Our sailcloth tents are also a favourite for winter weddings. Whilst in the summer sailcloth sides are left open, during the winter they can be let down and secured to your guests are safe from the elements. Please note our firepits can only be used outside, if you choose to have a sailcloth tent. Many of our couples use our firepits as outside focal points, around entrances or for outside areas for guests who need a small break from celebrations.

Can I use a stretch tent for a winter wedding?

We highly suggest to our couples to opt for a tipi or sailcloth tent setup for a winter wedding. Stretch tents cannot be closed off like our other tents, meaning you and your guests could be very chilly or windswept.

What flooring options do I have for a winter wedding?

All our wedding marquees come with natural-coloured woven matted flooring as standard. For non-draining surfaces or in winter we can also provide ‘Rola Track’, a plastic covering for the ground that our matted flooring goes over. We also have wooden dance floors and stages that can be found on the flooring and staging page. If you wish for a bespoke type of flooring e.g. black and white, we do have suppliers that we can work with to ensure you get the look you want.

How far in advance should I book my winter wedding marquee hire?

We suggest reserving your winter wedding tent/s well ahead of time to guarantee availability, particularly during busy wedding periods. Nonetheless, we recognise that schedules can differ, and we’ll make every effort to accommodate late bookings when feasible. Reach out to us to talk about your wedding date and finalise your reservation.

We have a wonderful relationship with a number of venues throughout Suffolk, where we are based, as well as Norfolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire. From stately homes to luxury hotels, and everything in between, if you’re looking to host your wedding in any of these locations take a look at our recommended suppliers and venues.

Are there any restrictions or requirements for setting up a marquee at our chosen venue?

Every venue has its own set of rules and regulations regarding marquee installations. Our team will coordinate with your venue to ensure that any restrictions or requirements are met. We have experience working with a wide range of venues and can handle the logistics seamlessly.
